Today I’m sharing a fun way to make a regular mocha a bit more interesting by making it a Salted Caramel Iced Mocha!

Anyone who knows me knows that “Jess” and “Iced Coffee” go hand in hand. I rarely show up to anything without an iced coffee in hand. Seriously. I’m known for forgetting my signature iced coffee cups EVERYWHERE. The church lost and found usually has one, most of my friends usually have them… it’s one of the hazards of bringing iced coffee everywhere.

Sometimes when I’m feeling like really doing it up and getting the full “coffeehouse experience” I like to use International Delight Iced Coffee as a base for fun coffeehouse recipes. My definite favorite is this Salted Caramel Iced Mocha. You already know how much I LOVE the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. This is basically a cold version of that with caffeine. Could it get any better?!
For this recipe I use International Delight Chocolate Caramel Creamer, Carmel Syrup, Redi-Whip, and Sea Salt. All of the measurements are flexible. I’ve made this with Heath coffee creamer as well which is just as delicious. Head over to the International Delight site to see all the awesome possible flavor combinations! A few I came up with off the top of my head were:
-Irish Creme Cafe Creamer with mocha for a Christmas mint iced coffee.
-White Chocolate Raspberry Creamer with mocha Iced Coffee for a sweet “Iced White Berry” drink.
-Cinnabon Creamer with Vanilla Iced Coffee for a sweet cinnamon vanilla drink.
The flavor combinations are endless with wide variety of creamers and iced coffees.
Salted Caramel Iced Mocha
- Prep Time: 5 mins
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 drink 1x
Ingredients
- 1.5 c. International Delight Iced Coffee, Mocha Flavor
- 1/4 c. International Delight Chocolate Caramel Coffee Creamer
- 1 T. Caramel Sauce
- Redi-Whip
- Sea Salt
- 8 Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Pour Iced Coffee and Creamer over ice and stir.
- Mix in Caramel Sauce.
- Top with Redi-Whip and Caramel Drizzle
- Sprinkle with Sea Salt
If you’re wanting to save a few calories the redi-whip and caramel drizzle is totally optional, but it also takes it over the top making more like a genuine coffeehouse drink. The sea salt topping is something that a lot of people think is totally crazy. You HAVE to try it though! Something about the salt balances out the sweetness. I really think that salted caramel and chocolate is the perfect flavor combination.
This could even be made easily in a pitcher for group gatherings. There’s nothing I enjoy more than meeting up with friends for a morning chat over a cup of coffee. Can you imagine the minds that would be blown if you showed up to a gathering with this?! Now that I say that I think I will bring a pitcher of that to Bible study next week! In order for it to not get watered down I’ll pre-mix it and then bring ice cubes to pour it over. I’ll also wait to put the topping on it until I am serving it.
So have you tried all of the delightful International Delight Iced Coffees? They make them in Mocha, Mocha-Light, Caramel Macchiato, and Vanilla. If not they will change your world… or at least your morning routine! If you have tried them what’s your favorite flavor Do you like to doctor them up or drink them simply poured over ice? Head on over to the International Delight website for TONS of great recipes using these iced coffees. You will not be able to check them out without drooling! Next time you’re in the juice section don’t forget to grab a carton of this delicious iced coffee!

Does it taste anything like Starbucks salted caramel mocha
I think so! It’s pretty close! Maybe not quite as much of an espresso taste.
