For this post I really don’t have much to say, other than I want to share my recipe for the best chewy chocolate chip cookies ever.
I’ve pinned and tried a lot of cookie recipes, and I continue to go back to this one. It’s simple, doesn’t require cake flour, expensive chocolate, or hours spent chilling cookie dough. They’re soft, chewy, and even more delicious warm. It’s the same recipe my mom always made, and I would be willing to bet that my kids and grandkids will keep making them this same way!

These cookies are the best. If the pictures of the cookies haven’t convinced you, maybe these ones of the boys will!
Seriously. Just take my word for it and go start baking!
Jess, I think you must be a baking goddess. Just made these cookies and they are delicious and very pretty! They will make great “going to miss you” gifts for our neighbors…and they will help me clean out the stockpile of flour/crisco/chocolate chips before we move. 🙂
I have also made your raspberry(huckleberry) pie this week. I must be stress-baking!
I’m not a baking goddess, but my mom and grandma taught me well! You’re so sweet making
Going to miss you” gifts!
Couple typos in the recipe. But I think I can figure it out. Can’t wait to try it!!
