Fudgey Chocolate Toffee Bars

Fudgy Chocolate Toffee Bars
A few years ago I discovered this amazingly delicious recipe on Pillsbury.com and I decided it’s about time to share it! It has three of my favorite things all in one bar: graham crackers, chocolate, and heath. Could it get any better??

  • Total Time: 30 mins
Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Butter, softened
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs (32 squares)
  • 1 bag Bits ‘O Brickle toffee bits (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate baking chips (2 cups)
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 T. Butter
  • 1 t. Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F
  2. Let roll of cookie dough stand at room temperature 10 minutes to soften
  3. Spray bottom only of 13×9-inch pan.
  4. Stir butter, 1 1/2 cups of the cracker crumbs and half of the toffee bits. Press mixture evenly in bottom of pan. Refrigerate about 15 minutes or until firm.
  5. In 2-quart saucepan, heat chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter over medium heat, stirring frequently, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Spread mixture over cracker crust.
  6. Break up cookie dough. Mix in remaining 1/2 cup cracker until well blended. Crumble mixture evenly over chocolate layer. Sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup toffee bits.
  7. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 2 hours.

Don’t make these unless you’ve got somewhere or someone to bring them to, otherwise they are dangerously delicious and will disappear very fast!
So fast that I had to hide these three bars in order to have anything to take a picture of!
Within minutes of these pictures these final three bars were gone.
What are your favorite bars?? They’d better involve lots of chocolate!
