Today I am sharing one of the most simple delicious cookie recipes: Chocolate Dipped Ritz and Peanut Butter Cookies. This is a recipe that my grandma always made when I was little. Then my mom always made them. Now I feel like it’s my duty to carry on the tradition and make them for my boys!
I started with chocolate almond bark. I used one and a half packages.
After cutting up the chocolate I just melted it in a double boiler.
Then I use Ritz crackers and Creamy Peanut butter to make a bunch of peanut butter sandwiches. I ended up using five sleeves of crackers. When I made these last week my mom was in town and she did the honors of dipping them in the chocolate. You just drop them in with a spoon, flip them, and set them out to harden on wax paper.
Mason loved being her little chocolate dipping assistant!
Don’t these look amazing?! They harden up pretty quickly. We ended up making about six dozen cookies. Even though these are SO simple they are SO delicious. When I made them last week I had to hide a container of them DEEP in the freezer so that we would actually have some left at Christmastime! Being a family recipe it was a fun one to have my mom here to help make.
