Tried & True Recipes to Inspire!

Classic Creamy Caramel Recipe

December 18, 2019 By BrightGreenDoor

Hey All! Today I’m sharing another one of my favorite Christmas recipes with you all! This one was introduced to me the first year that my sister was married when her mother-in-law brought her FAMOUS caramels to Christmas! Thankfully she was kind enough to share her classic creamy caramel recipe with me!

Wrapping Classic Creamy Caramel Recipe

**Post contains Affiliate links** I love that this classic creamy caramel recipe uses ingredients that I usually have on hand. The one thing that I have to plan ahead for is that I order these caramel wrappers on Amazon. The only place I’ve found some locally is Hobby Lobby and I don’t like theirs nearly as much! Also you’ll need a candy thermometer.

Unwrapped Caramels

You can cut your caramels as big or as small as you’d like. I cut mine into about 50 caramels, but you could easily  cut them in half again and make 100 if you have enough wrappers.

Caramels in Wrappers

This classic creamy caramel recipe is so amazing that anyone who tries them will be requesting them as a gift! You’ll probably end up making a few pans before the season is over! I hope you love this recipe as much as we all do!
